About this course:

In this course you will learn about what safeguarding is and its application in life and the world around us, including the law. The various types of abuse that can take place, common and uncommon signs of abuse and how abuse impacts the victim and those around them. Personal safety in society including: Spiking awareness, violent situations, harassment etc. Localised threats including: CSE, trafficking, county lines, knife crime, FGM. What is 'honour' based abuse? At risk communities, and the law around HBA and forced marriage. The signs it's taking place or a forced marriage is about to take place.
